VV ULTIMATUM Shunpo
Shunpo is the Bleach-faithful flash-step in VV ULTIMATUM — a high-speed burst of movement on the Q key, metered by two stats: Shunpo Speed and Shunpo Stamina. All three factions share the system. Here is how it works and the best clans, skill nodes and gear to boost it.
What Shunpo does
Shunpo is a rapid flash-step used to close distance on enemies, dodge attacks or reposition in a fight. It is not a single-charge ability — it behaves like a stamina-metered dash you can chain repeatedly until your Shunpo Stamina bar depletes, after which it recharges. Two dedicated stats govern it:
- Shunpo Speed — how far and fast each individual flash-step covers ground.
- Shunpo Stamina — how many flash-steps you can chain before exhausting the bar.

How to unlock Shunpo
No source describes a separate unlock quest or NPC for Shunpo itself — it appears to be available baseline from character creation once you are in a faction. There is no confirmed minimum level. What changes is its effectiveness, which scales from two things:

In lore the name "Shunpo" belongs to Shinigami, but in-game all three factions share the same fast-movement system under the unified Shunpo Speed / Shunpo Stamina stat labels:

Cooldown, cost and distance

What is confirmed: Shunpo draws from a Shunpo Stamina bar that depletes per use and then regenerates; higher Shunpo Stamina means more uses before exhaustion; higher Shunpo Speed means each flash-step covers more ground faster; and the Q-key Shunpo is the longer, faster burst while the Space dash is shorter and cheaper.

Shihoin is the premier Shinigami mobility clan and rated S Tier overall because mobility helps every build. Notably, Murciellago is a Common 60%-drop Hollow clan that still gives the highest raw Shunpo Speed bonus in the game (+10) — multiple tier lists call it "surprisingly useful for a Common clan." Upgrade tips
- Invest the Speed skill tree first on any build — it holds the best Shunpo nodes and is S Tier.
- Roll the Swift gear modifier (+7% Shunpo Speed) and Tireless (+7% Shunpo Stamina) on your equipment.
- The Spirit Charm Wings (Hollow trait) adds +5% Shunpo Stamina and +3% Shunpo Speed on top of clan and skill-tree bonuses.
- Don't confuse Shunpo with Skywalk — a separate Level 50 Tower-climb passive that lets you walk and fight in midair (and removes fall damage at Level 60). It is related mobility but a different system.
