Gelum is a teaching fight: it is not tied to Shikai, Schrift or Resurreccion, and there is no gear or level gate. Its job is to drill the parry-and-dodge loop before the open world.

How to beat Gelum
Gelum is built to teach the parry-and-dodge loop, so it telegraphs everything. Its signature move drops red danger zones on the ground just before an AoE hit.
- Dodge the red zones, do not block them. When the ground flashes red, flash-step out of the circle instead of tanking it.
- Stay moving. Gelum chases on a predictable rhythm, so constant movement avoids most of its pressure.
- Parry the normal swings. Time parries on the basic and heavy wind-ups to set up posture breaks.
- Punish with crits after a safe opening. It has no confirmed ranged pressure — create distance when a red attack starts, then re-engage.
