The Bank Remote vendor is in the second village on the main story path, not your starting spawn. Progress the early main questline until you reach the Outskirts.
Head to the Mizuki Shoto sub-area (spelled "Mizuki Sato" in some guides). This is the same village hub that houses several key NPC vendors.
Can't spot the NPC? Hold C to soul-sense — it highlights nearby NPCs and quest markers and labels the Bank Representative's location on your map.

How to use the Bank Remote
Using the Bank Remote is simple, but there is one catch that trips up a lot of new players:
- Activate the remote from your inventory. A bank crate drops in from above as a supply drop.
- Press T on the landed crate to open your storage.
- Deposit or withdraw items to free up your inventory and organise your gear, crafting materials and quest items.
- You need open airspace. The crate is dropped from the sky, so the remote will not work underground, inside caves, or in enclosed areas with no overhead clearance. Step into the open and try again.
Bank slots and storage upgrades
You start with a limited number of bank slots — roughly 4 to 5 — which fills up quickly once you start hoarding weapons and materials like Soul Essence and Spirit Alloy. You can spend additional in-game currency to buy more storage slots through the same bank system, so it is worth grabbing a few extra slots early if you plan to farm and craft seriously.
